Administration & Support Coordinator

Bewdley, Worcestershire (remote / WFH available).
Own Transport Essential.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
From £25,000 annual salary.

Due to a high volume of applications, preference will be given to those from a secretarial / PA background.

An organisation dedicated to providing community support in times of need, is seeking an Administration & Support Coordinator to act as the central link between teams and ensure key activities run smoothly. No two days will be the same - this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing a wide range of skills.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position within the organisation, providing administrative, operational and community-focused support. You'll handle enquiries, support internal teams, maintain essential data systems, and help ensure vital services run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for helpline calls and inbox enquiries.
  • Provide advice, information and follow-up support.
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries.
  • Coordinate staff training sessions and internal meetings.
  • Provide data and administrative support to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Maintain databases, contact lists, and Mailchimp records.
  • Accounts admin support such as inputting invoices, timesheet allocations and the management of credit card receipts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community groups and support wider communications.
  • HR administration support, such as recruitment advertising, candidate management, DBS checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Assist with resources for promotional activities and attend exhibitions when required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and empathy, particularly when supporting individuals and communities.
  • Highly organised, flexible, and detail focused.
  • Collaborative team player who brings a solution-focused approach.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly a good understanding of Excel.

PLEASE NOTE, although this role offers the option to work primarily on a remote / WFH basis, candidates MUST have their own transport and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bewdley. You will be expected on occasions to work locally with colleagues.
