Business Improvement and Quality Engineer

There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops and a manufactures a range of bespoke products as a Business Improvement and Quality Engineer.
As a Business Improvement and Quality Engineer, you will act as the Quality Authority for assigned projects, assuring clients requirements are addressed through development and production. Also, the Business Improvement and Quality Engineer will identify and facilitate Continuous Improvement projects through lifecycle processes.
Business Improvement and Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
-Progress and review the project NCF,PPs and 8Ds
-Provide technical support to both customer and team meetings
-Identify and facilitate Continuous Improvement projects
-Complete all relevant quality documents required both by clients and the business
Business Improvement and Quality Engineer Requirements:
-Educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural or Material Science.)
-Previous experience or working in an aerospace or defence environment, with knowledge and understanding customer/MOD standards
-Experienced in using continuous improvement and problem solving techniques (e.g. FAI, 5s, 8D…)
-Have training in Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt Methodology
-Experienced in working to accredited quality standards
