CNC Wood Machinist

Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Pay: From £12.21 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

We are looking for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC machinery, edgebanders, or traditional woodworking equipment. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with ongoing training and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC wood machining equipment to cut, shape, and finish components

• Use traditional woodworking machines such as spindle moulders, table saws, and planer/thicknessers

• Read and follow technical drawings, measurements, and job sheets

• Carry out quality checks on all finished parts

• Maintain machines and report any faults or required maintenance

• Work with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with CNC machines (wood preferred)

• Experience with edgebanders or traditional wood machinery

• Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow instructions

• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team

• Previous experience in wood machining or carpentry is essential
