£48,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

• Program PLCs, touch screens, networks, and SCADA systems
• Liaise with internal panel builders to ensure systems meet design specifications
• Perform on-site installation and commissioning
• Service and troubleshoot existing systems
• Manage projects from conception to completion
• Train and mentor team members in control systems
• Ensure high standards and timely delivery of all projects

Controls Engineer Required Experience:

• Industrial control systems
• PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
• Industrial networks (EtherNET, ProfiNET)
• Manufacturing industries/processes
• Customer and supplier liaison

Key Requirements:

• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive mind
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Desire for continuous learning and improvement
• Self-starter with maturity for minimal supervision
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Willingness to travel (approx. 50%), including abroad
• Full UK driving licence (with 3 penalty points or less)
• Presentable and articulate
• Ability to demonstrate work capability during interviews
• Eligible to work in the UK
