The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist equipment into a range of commercial and industrial applications. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking to expand their technical team with the addition of an Electrical Draughtsman.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer looking to develop a career within electrical design. Working within a small drawing office and reporting to the Technical Manager, you will support the creation and management of electrical drawings, ensuring accurate documentation is delivered to production.

The role offers hands-on experience, ongoing support, and the opportunity to grow within a specialist engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and issue electrical drawings to support production requirements

• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within required timescales

• Maintain and organise drawing office documentation, ensuring records are up to date

• Compile and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production

• Learn and apply relevant industry standards and regulations

• Support fault finding activities alongside the test engineering team

• Develop a strong understanding of products and systems

The Person

• Degree or college qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or working towards)

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Good organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Proactive attitude with an interest in developing technical knowledge
