Are you a tech-savvy professional who is looking for a new challenge? Our client is looking for an IT Systems Engineer with a strong networking background to join their well-established team. Working within the manufacturing sector is a fast paced environment and will provide different scenarios to test your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Windows Server Administration: Oversee and troubleshoot server issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Network Device Management: Manage and maintain network devices including switches, routers, VLANs, and WiFi systems.
  • Network Services Operations: Administer and support network services such as Active Directory (AD), DHCP, and DNS.
  • EDR Solutions Support: Provide support for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions to safeguard our IT infrastructure.
  • IT Project Management: Evaluate alternative solutions and manage the implementation of IT projects from start to finish.
  • Collaboration with 3rd Party Providers: Work with external support providers to deliver effective IT solutions for our company.
  • Implementation and Upgrades: Implement new IT solutions and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and security.
  • Client PC Troubleshooting: Assist IT colleagues in troubleshooting and resolving client PC issues.
  • Technical Processes and Policies Design: Design and implement new technical processes and policies to improve IT operations.

Your profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • Familiar with working in an ITIL based organisation;
  • Excellent skills with Windows Server and Client;
  • Great understanding of networking, preferably Cisco;
  • A desire to learn new skills and provide excellent levels of service;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • Full driving license, as occasional travel within the UK will be necessary for incident management and project work
