Sales Manager

A naturally ambitious and driven Sales Manager is required to join this innovative business and play a key role in developing long term business growth. Tasked with increasing company revenue and identifying profitable business opportunities, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in business development or consultative sales with a strong business acumen.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Onboarding new clients and growing network sales as well as increasing volumes with existing clients
  • Identifying and researching potential national key accounts
  • Establishing and managing relationships
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary sales and marketing support to deliver results
  • Supporting the implementation of new clients
  • Writing business proposals and presenting to new clients
  • Monitoring contract and SLA compliance and customer KPI reporting
  • Using LinkedIn as an additional sales tool
  • Liaising with the operations team on delivering customer expectations
  • Liaising with Marketing on production of sales material to support the delivery of goals

Working closely with the Head of Sales and Customer Acquisition, you will have experience in leading customer projects and demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as being confident with all MS Office applications and using a CRM system.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experienced Sales / Business Development Manager who is used to exceeding targets
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including up to Senior Management level
  • Self -motivated and proactive with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional service
  • An affinity with social media
  • A knowledge of logistics and customs

This role offers remote working with an option of working in local and London offices as required.

Salary between £45k- £65k (depending on experience) plus £10k performance bonus
