The Opportunity
We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded manufacturing business to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator on a fixed-term basis, with the potential for a permanent opportunity.
This is a hands-on, varied role requiring a strong on-site presence across both the shop floor and office. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, components, and production activity within a fast-paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of purchasing activities for materials, components, and external services
Coordinate production planning to align with customer demand and operational capacity
Work closely with internal teams to manage workflow, job releases, and production priorities
Monitor stock levels, ensuring accuracy, availability, and traceability of materials
Manage supplier relationships, including performance, lead times, and cost efficiency
Proactively resolve supply chain issues such as shortages or delays
Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operational processes
Maintain a strong presence on-site, collaborating with both office-based and shop floor teams
About You
Previous experience within a supply chain, purchasing, or planning role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong understanding of production processes and material flow
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or engineering specifications
Highly organised with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Confident working in a fast-paced, hands-on role
Experience with ERP systems (such as D365, IFS, or similar) is advantageous
A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to be visible and engaged on-site
