Customer Service Coordinator (Business analyst)

Are you interested in working for a reputable automotive company who are a market leader in manufacturing across the Globe. With a small office in Redditch, the commercial side of the business requires assistance with running the sales back office ensuring a correct process is in place.


Customer Service Coordinator role has a range of benefits including but not limited to:

Salary of up to £23k PA
12 months fixed term contract for the right individual

50/50 hybrid working role from home and the office in Redditch

Full time position 0800 - 1630 Monday - Friday



As a Support Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor, process and control EDI-orders according to the procedures (Electronic Data Interchange) from OES-customers in Oracle ERP, measure performance; derive action-plan for improvements.
  • Answers queries directly or forwards to the appropriate internal department always ensuring accurate and on-time responses.
  • Responsible for on-time order-processing.
  • Works closely with internal departments such as IS, Sales, Materials Planning, Business Line, Accounts Receivable, and Quality but also externally with the service providers (warehouse, carriers, etc.) for issue related to outbound-shipments.
  • Ensure proper backup and assistance within the OES team
  • Address unresolved requests and issues to the designated resource.
  • Pro-active follow up of backorders through reporting and analysis.
  • Communication and coordination with internal departments and 3PL.
  • Use of tools such as Oracle ERP, Meritor Cores Online, Quality Failure Report, etc.
  • Ensure proper backup of other desks in the department.
  • Project work (SOX, ISO, etc.)
  • Any other tasks requested from the Team Leader or Customer Service Manager.
  • Guarantee high class service.



To be successful in this position you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The Customer Service Coordinator position requires interest for administration tasks, interaction with people and language skills.
  • Must demonstrate problem-solving approach.
  • Knowledge and experience of the MS-Office products (Excel V-Look-up, Pivot tables, Macros) and ERP (ideally Oracle).
  • Language skills - English; any other European language is an asset.
  • Prior experience in customer service role or in EDI processing
  • Must be an approachable, open-minded, service-oriented person, initiative, proactive, ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to manage complex tasks and have analytical skills
  • Must be able to work independently, can pull information



This Support Business Analyst opportunity is based in Redditch with remote working offered 50/50 share.
