Job description

As a Business Analyst you will be part of the Solutions team, providing a vital link between the internal business and technical teams and customers.

Your role is to support the strategic development of solutions and the successful delivery of prioritised customer led initiatives.

Your main duties will include:
*To support the Solution Management team in ensuring the successful delivery of prioritised projects and strategic product development opportunities
*Eliciting, documenting and communicating requirements from internal stakeholders, users, & customers
*Analysing and fully documenting business processes
*Managing requirements throughout the software development lifecycle from inception, review, sign-off, development, testing to acceptance and benefits realisation
*To produce suitable user stories, in accordance with product, strategic or customer needs, refining and preparing all relevant details, context and appropriate acceptance criteria
*To assist internal teams with building business cases or providing relevant cost benefit analysis as required
*Providing product expertise and customer insight to production teams based on a sound understanding of our customers/users, the marketplace and industry processes
*Communicating key insights and findings to the solutions team for prioritisation
*Cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, taking the lead, challenging ideas, thinking and managing expectations as appropriate

Your experience will include:
*Degree qualified or equivalent, supported by a recognised qualification in Business Analysis, Scrum Product Owner or equivalent experience
*Demonstrable experience of working in an agile environment, in a similar role (2+ years)
*Highly organised, creative problem solver with a collaborative approach
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong presentation and facilitation skills
*Proven ability in requirements gathering, process and data modelling
*A track record of developing and managing stakeholder relationships
*Excellent questioning and listening skills, with an empathetic approach and the ability to balance multiple perspectives in delivering the best result for the customer and the business
*Able to negotiate effectively, influencing decisions and managing expectations
*Ability to deliver to agreed objectives and timescales within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
*Quick learner with the ability to make connections and solve problems effectively
*Methodical and structured approach ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
*Assertive but diplomatic with a bias for action, collaboration and optimism
*Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis within the UK and overseas

Desirable:
*An understanding of relational databases
*Technical and working knowledge of common integration and scripting methods (SQL/ OBDC, JavaScript, APIs, etc.)
*Experience of working in a B2B SaaS environment
*Experience of prototyping, UX design and third-party integrations

This role is based in Ross on Wye and is commutable from Worcester, Evesham, Pershore, Ledbury, Tenbury, Hereford, Bromyard, Gloucester Cheltenham and surrounds.
