Business Development Executive required to join sales division of globally renowned satellite communications organisation - Herefordshire - hybrid working + excellent benefits

Exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join this internationally successful satellite communications company in Herefordshire. The Business Development Executive will work as part of the sales division and be the main point of contact for all product queries within their specified region, nurturing existing customer relationships and driving commercial success by growing their client base through building long lasting customer relationships and seeking new business development opportunities. Business Development / Sales Executive duties include:

  • Generating new business leads to grow international client base and build long lasting partnerships
  • Nurturing existing client relationships through effective customer service
  • Efficiently dealing with new business enquiries
  • Acting as main point of contact for customers within assigned sales region
  • Building and demonstrating extensive product knowledge to contribute to commercial success of technical products
  • Attending trade shows and events, including overseas, and networking opportunities

This Business Development Executive role will suit a candidate with a proven track record in technical sales, ideally with an international client base. Must have a background in sales / business development and a genuine interest in technology and / or science. This is a fast-paced sales role working in a professional tech environment and this Business Development Executive must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build their professional network. A proactive attitude and good negotiation and problem-solving skills are key as well as the ability to use their initiative and think outside the box to identify new sales opportunities. A keen and genuine interest in technology / science / communications is essential in order to discuss and advise on complex technical issues across an international client base.

Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm with hybrid working (3 days per week onsite in Herefordshire). N.B. International travel will be required as part of the role.
