My client is a well-established engineering company that designs and manufactures power-handling solutions that are used in the food, agriculture and pharmaceutical sectors. They are seeking a Controls Engineer to join their existing team. As a Controls Engineer, your role will focus on programming PLC's, designing system processes, testing and troubleshooting control systems.

Controls Engineer responsibilities;

• Programming PLC's for power-handling machinery
• Provide technical support to engineers and contacts
• Producing detailed manufacturing specifications, including controls and panel drawings, both for electrical and pneumatic systems utilising an ACAD Electrical design package.
• Developing new products and methods of control
• Carry out regular reviews to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Producing detailed controls designs for automated machinery

Controls Engineer requirements;

• Previous experience in a Controls Engineering position is essential.
• Experienced in Electrical and controls design
• Must be familiar with SCADA
• Experience fault finding on control systems
• Experience using ACAD design software would be advantageous
• Able to produce detailed control designs for bespoke machinery
• Excellent communication skills are a must

This role as a Controls Engineer is based in Evesham and commutable from Worcester, Alcester, Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Pershore and Tewkesbury.
