My client is a well-established engineering company that designs and manufactures power-handling solutions that are used in the food, agriculture, and pharmaceutical sectors. They are seeking a Controls Team Leader to join their existing team. As a Controls Team Leader, your role will focus on providing technical support to the Operation Manager and the Controls Engineers.

Controls Team Leader responsibilities;

• To lead the Controls Engineering department
• Provide technical support to engineers and contacts
• Producing detailed manufacturing specifications, including controls and panel drawings, both for electrical and pneumatic systems utilising an ACAD Electrical design package
• Developing new products and methods of control
• Carry out regular reviews to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Producing detailed controls designs for automated machinery

Controls Team Leader requirements;

• Previous experience in a Controls Engineering position is essential
• Experienced in Electrical and controls design
• Experience using ACAD design software would be advantageous
• Must have management/supervisory experience
• A good understanding of controls systems and manufacturing methods
• Able to produce detailed control designs for bespoke machinery
• Excellent communication skills are a must

This role as a Controls Team Leader is based in Evesham and commutable from: Worcester, Alcester, Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Pershore and Tewkesbury.
