Our client based on the outskirts of Droitwich is seeking Customer Service Operatives within their Customer Service / Transport team.

The role will involve (but not limited too)-

-Work as part of a team ensuring operational performance targets, objectives and goals are achieved.

-* Liaise effectively and professionally with customers, hauliers and colleagues, including the timely provision of accurate documentation, in order to provide a smooth and accurate service.

-Accurately input, on a daily basis, customer data using all applicable systems (manual or computerised) in order to maintain accurate stock records.

-Process and quality check documentation accurately and in the agreed manner for each customer satisfying all agreed time constraints.

-Investigate and resolve customer queries and reconcile reported stock discrepancies by liaising with other departments in an efficient and timely manner, escalating where appropriate.


- Assisting the customer service manager with daily operational functions by performing all customer service, transport support and administration duties.


-Processing data in a timely manner and to support operational activities by providing effective communication to customers, the team and other personnel.


-Liaise effectively and professionally with drivers, transport planners, hauliers and colleagues in order to provide a smooth and accurate service.


-Perform general office administration duties as and when required.

Knowledge, Skills, Experienced Required (but not limited too)-

-High level of attention to detail
-Excellent computer skills, IT Literate.
-Previous clerical/administrative experience preferable with some understanding of stock control.
-Experience of working within a customer service environment previously.
-Good communication skills and a good telephone manner.

Customer Service Operative- Hours of Work- 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

This Customer Service Role will be based in an office working on their own but does have through access. All PPE to comply with Covid guidelines is provided.

Own transport is required for this role due to location.
Temporary to Permanent Assignment. Start ASAP.
