Our client is looking for a Customer Supply Manager to join their dynamic team and take the lead on the end-to-end planning and supply process between their global suppliers and key retail customers.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to person for managing product availability, forecasting, and inventory health ensuring that an exceptional service is delivered to customers. Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Act as the main supply chain contact for major customer accounts
Own medium to long-term demand forecasting, working closely with commercial teams.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast accuracy, identifying opportunities to improve stock health
Collaborate with customer service to resolve any service or transport-related issues.
Lead customer supply meetings and drive performance improvement initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
Track key KPIs and conduct root cause analyses for service issues.
Drive and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Understand customer assortments and support team knowledge-sharing.
Key skills and experience required:
Experience in a supply chain or planning role, ideally in food or FMCG.
Strong working knowledge of ERP and planning tools (SAP, Slimstock preferred).
Demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships and projects.
Understanding of factory planning and supply processes.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and confident working with large data sets.
Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
