Job Title: Debtors Clerk & Bank Reconcil
Location: Worcester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: Immediate

Hewett Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with our client in Worcester to recruit a Debtors Clerk & Bank Reconciliation professional. This is an urgent requirement and offers an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with genuine long-term career development.

The Role

This position will focus heavily on managing a large-scale bank reconciliation project, alongside supporting the wider finance function with debtor management responsibilities.

Key duties will include:

  • Completing a significant and complex bank reconciliation process

  • Reconciling accounts across approximately 2,000 clients

  • Processing and reconciling around 150 credit card transactions

  • Maintaining debtor accounts and supporting accounts receivable activities

  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies

  • Analysing financial data and producing accurate reports

  • Supporting the wider finance team as required


The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Debtors Clerk / Accounts Receivable professional

  • Proven experience managing high-volume bank reconciliations

  • Strong confidence working with large volumes of numerical data

  • Advanced Excel skills, particularly in reconciliation and reporting

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

  • A team player, comfortable managing multiple responsibilities
