My client is an established company that specialises in producing made to measure bespoke products that are used in the Manufacturing sector. They are seeking a new Junior Design Engineer to join their existing team to create detailed product designs, assist with design projects and to produce supporting technical documentation.

Design Engineer Responsibilities;

• Liaise with customers and gather required design specifications
• Create detailed product designs using Solidworks
• Produce all supporting technical documentation
• Review legacy designs and produce improvement solutions
• Provide technical support to clients and the Production Team

Design Engineer Requirements;

• Previous experience in a Design Engineer position would be beneficial
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, fabrics and plastics would be advantageous
• Experienced is using Solidworks
• Excellent communication skills are essential
