Executive Assistant

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with a skill for optimising business operations? Are you ready to support the CEO within small office environment?

Our client is a highly respected Technical Consultancy working across the UK. They pride themselves on providing exceptional service and advice to ensure their clients are meeting their regulatory requirements.

Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in optimising and streamlining the business operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. The ideal candidate must have a strong background with demonstrable experience in supporting at Executive level, implementing process improvements, and being actively involved in day-to-day operations.

Working within a small office environment, the successful candidate will need to be adaptable to working in a quiet, open-plan office that also has two canines within the team!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, fee proposals, project budget monitoring and allied reporting updates
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations.
  • Work closely with the CEO to manage the calendar, keeping the CEO well-informed of upcoming commitments and following up appropriately.
  • Manage incoming workstreams and the CEO's inbox.
  • Manage the CEO's schedules, prepare reports, and provide general administrative support, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Anticipate the CEO's needs in advance of meetings and prepare briefing packs, etc.
  • Organise efficient filing systems and keep accurate records.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders.
  • Align business operations with company goals and objectives.
  • Compile and manage expense reports.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous demonstrable experience working as an Executive Assistant
  • Manage projects, fee proposals, project budget monitoring and allied reporting updates
  • An ability to display high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
  • A self-starter with exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Experience in implementing office processes and procedures.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word and a high standard of Excel including the use of formulas and analysis.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
