Facilities Manager

Our client is a Worcestershire based Software Company and is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to be responsible for the management and maintenance of the company's premises.

The role is based in Worcester with some travel to other sites within the UK and no more than once or twice a year to overseas premises.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

*Procurement and contract management for facilities services including cleaning, catering and vending
*Managing office leases, building and grounds maintenance and office security
*Managing office utilities, space and workplace environments
*Project Managing, Supervising and coordinating contractors
*Calculating and comparing costs for goods and services
*Managing office changes
*Ensuring buildings meet health and safety requirements and facilities comply with legislation
*Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues
*Liaising with overseas office managers with regards to workplace environment, utilities, leases and employee safety

Essential experience required for the Facilities Manager:

*Multi - site facilities management
*Managing third party contracts and contractors
*Managing Health and Safety activities
Skills required:
*Confident in decision making, procurement and negotiation
*Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
*An ability to create engaging workspaces
*An excellent team player and ability to motivate teams
*Exceptional organisational skills
*Strong Microsoft Office skills

Our client is offering a competitive salary of £30 - £35k with a £400 travel allowance and excellent additional benefits.

A full valid driving licence is essential for visiting UK sites
Overseas travel is required (once or twice a year)
