Field Service Engineer needed for an exciting client!

A well-established client is currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to manage their vehicle movement solutions.

Covering M25 corridor and South East of England, the projects vary from small local ones to major national ones and so the role is very challenging and will stretch the right candidate.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be involved in installing, maintaining and servicing the products, whilst having the opportunity to think about improvements or new ideas. A clean driving licence is a must and experience in similar role is highly advantageous.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Install, service and maintain the product (both electronic and mechanical components)
• Travel to sites across South East England, with main focus on M25 corridor
• Work outdoors and at height
• Liaise with colleagues and provide technical support
• Ensure that all technical documentation is completed

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

• Experience working with electrics and electronics (HNC or ONC in an electronic engineering discipline or 17th edition)
• Working hours flexibility, days, nights, weekends (overtime rates apply)
• Excellent problem solving and communications skills are a must
• Clean UK driving licence
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• MEP, MEWP, HEIS or CSCS card would be advantageous

Due to the amount of travel required to cover the area, candidates are required to live up to 1 hour away from the area. Company vehicle, PPE and tools will be provided, with good opportunity for progression.
