This Financial Controller role represents an opportunity to join an established and successful business and play a key part in future successes. Offering autonomy to the right candidate, you will have an input in to key decisions that shape the business for the future with an emphasis on all things financial, processes and systems.
Working from offices in Droitwich, you will report to the Managing Director and Financial Director forming part of a small Senior Management Team. With responsibility for all business finances, you will manage a small team of 3 as well as working closely with all other departments within the business.
Preparing and producing monthly & annual accounts
Preparation and production of Forecasts
Preparing financial reports.
Analysing financial data.
Monitoring internal controls.
Cost Control & Monitoring
Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
Cashflow management & credit control.
Participating in budgeting processes.
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Developing plans for financial growth.
Evaluating and managing risk.
Coordinating audit processes.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
Review and suggest improvements to financial/accounting processes and systems.
Previous & significant experience in a similar role essential.
Capable of delivering management accounts.
ACMA, ACCA or ACMA qualified.
Strong leadership qualities.
Experience of managing a small team would be beneficial.
Team player, good with people and a strong communicator.
Problem solving & analytical skills.
Circa £45,000 + Annual Salary.
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
Fuel Card (optional).
Based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
