The Role

As HR Administrator, you will assist the Head of HR in providing a high quality HR service that meets customer needs and business objectives. To work flexibly and collaboratively, identifying areas for improvement within the HR function.

Responsibilities

Support the HR Officer in carrying out all HR administration to include new starter letters, contracts of employment, eligibility paperwork, references etc.
Ownership and full administration of the sites Time & Attendance system (ADP).
Maintaining employee records, adding new starters, processing leavers, updating schedules.
Daily review of hours worked in the T&A system, support Line Managers with any training requirements.
Payroll data entry with ownership and full administration of Sage.
Manage payroll queries for both temporary and permanent staff.
Manage petty cash / expenses requests.
Collation, analysis and reporting of HR KPI data for the daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Absence management.
Maintain tracking documents for monitoring long term sick and maternity / paternity employees, parental leave and flexible working requests and references.
First point of contact in the HR Department for all queries.
Continually keeping up-to-date with developments in employment legislation.
Administration of workwear.
Undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the Head of HR.
Administering the tracking and return of RTW forms.

Requirements

Must have a strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong, all round office administration skills and experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional team working skills.
Enjoys working with data and systems.
Experience of working with confidential and sensitive data.
Experience of working within HR advantageous.

Annual salary £20k - £23k.

Based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
