Java Developer

If you are a skilled Java Developer and are experienced with using front-end frameworks, we have a great opportunity for you! This Gloucester based company is an established Software company in the Education sector and is looking to expand their team. They are looking for someone to build and develop their next generation of products.

Javascript Developer Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Development team to architect and develop the new product line
  • Enhance user experience by using your skills with front end technologies

Java Developer Requirements:

  • Experience using modern JavaScript front-end frameworks - React, Ember, Vue
  • Good knowledge of Javascript standards
  • Experience consuming and interacting with RESTful API's
  • Experience using SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Delivery within an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in container management
  • NodeJS experience- desirable
  • AWS services in production (DynamoDb, RDS, S3, ECS)- desirable
  • Team Player
  • Self-motivated

This is a Hybrid working role.

Hours of work are 9am-5pm and salary is £40-55K commensurate with experience.
