A well-established client based near Kidderminster is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their business, to support their growth. The client is a plastics manufacturer but the machinery to be maintained is very varied.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will assist with installation, reactive maintenance, PPM and assisting with repairing production machinery to ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum. The role demands high level fault finding on both electrical and mechanical applications and experience in both is required.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Installation and testing of machinery
• Service and repair of production machinery
• Reactive maintenance & Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Implementing continuous improvement projects
• Upkeep of H&S standards at all times

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree level qualification in engineering
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance is essential
• Fault finding experience is essential
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Advantageous: PLC experience, electrical qualifications, robotics experience
