Maintenance Manager Duties:

• Safety Leadership: Instil a safety-conscious culture, implement and enforce safety protocols, and ensure PUWER compliance.
• Team Leadership and Coaching: Lead, inspire, and coach the engineering team; foster an environment of empowerment and continuous improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement in engineering processes, analyse production downtime, and implement innovative solutions.
• Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA): Promote root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring issues.
• Maintenance Oversight: Ensure optimal equipment reliability, implement preventative maintenance strategies, and manage critical spares.
• Communication: Report on engineering activities, align team priorities, and liaise with production and other teams.
• Facilities: Support site-wide general facilities requirements.

Maintenance Manager Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, RCCA, and continuous improvement.
• Skills: Strong leadership and coaching skills, problem-solving mindset, and knowledge of TPMs, PPMs, CMMS, and FMEAs.
• Abilities: Ability to challenge existing practices, communicate effectively, and align engineering activities with business objectives.
• Qualifications: Relevant technical qualifications and prior experience in maintenance management.
