Office Manager / Bookkeeper

As a key support to the CEO as well as llooking after all areas of office administration, you will be an individual who thrives on working in an ever changing, fast paced environment and who enjoys a varied and challenging role. With a strong financial acumen and previous experience with bookkeeping, you will be naturally proactive and self-motivated.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • Monthly bank and spreadsheet reconciliations
  • Updating and reconciling income and expenditure sheets for the CEO and staff
  • Liaising with the accountants and auditors with regards to any queries
  • Submitting monthly mileage and expense claims, sick pay and other salary related issues
  • Looking after the day to day office function including all ICT queries and equipment issues
  • Managing the diary through outlook
  • Assisting the CEO in producing and maintain company policies including Health & Safety
  • Overseeing monthly pension returns, contribution submissions and queries
  • Producing all documentation for new starters and ensuring all induction documents are completed
  • Taking and recording minutes from staff meetings
  • Arranging venue hire for meetings and events

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • An ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Strong financial acumen and previous experience as listed in duties
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A willingness to diversify and support in areas of the business as required

This role is based in Worcester with some flexibility of home working and offers a salary of £22,600 along with free parking. A full, clean driving licence is essential.
