Job description
Office Manager
An experienced Office Manager with a strong financial acumen is required to join this fantastic 'Employee Ownership Trust' company, run for the benefit of the employees. As well as having responsibility for all of the day to day administration, you will also oversee the finance functions as well as overseeing a small admin team. This is a varied role and a great opportunity for the successful candidate to make the role their own and improve current processes.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Responsibility for VAT, company annual return and day to day financial administration
- Supporting the Directors with diary management, travel arrangements and PA work
- Arranging supplier payments
- Preparing month end including reconciliations and reports
- Implementing modern processes and systems
- Attending Board meetings
- Overseeing all day to day administration
- Assuming responsibility for the admin of HR and H&S
- Managing a small team of three administrators
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Knowledge of Sage payroll
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Accounting system (Xero preferred)
- A positive attitude
Based in Malvern our client is offering a salary of £30 - £35k (depending on experience) and some excellent additional benefits.
