Credit Controller
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week (flexible working pattern)
Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a part-time opportunity with flexibility and the chance to make a real impact?
We are recruiting for a well-established business based in Hartlebury, who are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Credit Controller to join their finance team. You'll play a key role in managing and reducing outstanding debt while building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Key Responsibilities of a Credit Controller include:
Proactive chasing of overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
Accurate input and allocation of incoming payments on the ledger
Reconciliation of debtor and adhoc accounts
Liaison with internal departments to investigate and resolve payment queries
Maintain and update customer data to ensure accuracy
Attend and contribute to internal and customer debt review meetings
Provide support with audits and documentation
General administrative support as required
Skills and experience include:
Previous experience in credit control or a finance administration role
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data sorting)
Experience using finance or ERP systems
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Organised and methodical in managing records and electronic filing
