My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke components and they are looking for a new technical Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner your role will focus on Production Planning, get involved with current manufacturing processes, and implement a Lean approach.

Production Planner Responsibilities;

• Responsible for creating and implementing Production Plans
• General housekeeping of their current bespoke ERP systems
• To implement a Lean Manufacturing approach to current processes
• To troubleshoot Production Orders
• To create and present KPI reports
• To communicate effectively with all Production departments and engineers

Production Planner Experience;

• Previous experience in Production Planning is essential
• Previous experience working within a technical manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of Lean and Kaizen techniques would be advantageous
• Experienced in operating MRP and ERP Systems
• A good understanding of technical production processes would be beneficial
