My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of bespoke equipment internationally. As a Production Planner, your role will focus on Production Planning, getting involved with current manufacturing processes, and implementing lean manufacturing methodologies.
Production Planner Responsibilities;
Responsible for creating and implementing Production Plans
To implement a Lean Manufacturing approach to current processes
To troubleshoot Production Orders
To create and present KPI reports
To communicate effectively with all Production departments and engineers
Production Planner Experience;
Previous experience in a Production Planner position is essential
Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies
Previous experience working within a technical manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills are a must
Knowledge of Lean and kaizen techniques would be advantageous
Experienced in operating SAP software
A good understanding of technical production processes would be beneficial
