Job description
Our client is looking for an experienced Scrum Master/ Agile Project Manager.
As an Agile expert, you will play a pivotal role within the development team in helping to create a clear vision of the product, help facilitate effective communication and information exchange as well as monitor progress and assist the Development Team Leader to drive a culture of responsibility, accountability, agility and continuous learning.
As a Scrum Master your role will include (but not be limited to)....
Lead and coach scrum adoption
Host daily team meetings to get updates on progress, address potential roadblocks and ensure the project is on track
Host regular sessions to share updates with product stakeholders about how projects are progressing
Ensure the team are meeting deadlines with the desired outcome
Continue to drive agile engineering practices to improve efficiency
Encourage and help drive the use of continuous integration and automated builds and testing
Encourage effective 'pair programming' helping to reduce development time and improve the architecture and quality of the product
Find methods to effectively resource and manage the product backlog
Communicate the owners wish list to the Development Team
Host weekly planning and retrospective meetings with the development team and relevant product owners/stakeholders
Implement changes and processes to increase the teams efficiency
Assist to achieve specific milestones and deliverables
Bridge the gap between the concept of the project and the actions required to complete it
Possess an overarching knowledge about the product and processes and agile methodologies
Work closely with the Development Team leader to promote effective change
As an experienced Scrum Master/ Agile Project manager you will have....
Certified Scrum Master (Essential)
3-5 years as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager (Essential)
5 Years in an Agile Development Environment (Essential)
Strong communicator (Essential)
Experience running scrum with Jira (Essential)
Strong organisation skills (Essential)
Coaching and training experience (Desired)
