My client are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke industrial airflow systems and they are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their existing team. As a Senior Design Engineer, your role will involve managing design projects from initial concept to delivery, gathering specifications from clients, providing technical support and creating 2D & 3D building service designs.

Senior Design Engineer Responsibilities;

• Managing design projects from initial concept to delivery
• Providing technical support to clients and the wider engineering team
• Preparing cost estimates and oversee those generated by others
• Complete all relevant supporting documentation such as Risk Assessments
• Creating detailed building service designs using AutoCAD
• Review problems when they occur and provide technical solutions

Senior Design Engineer Requirements;

• Previous experience working withing a design engineering position
• Must be able to manage design projects from initial concept to delivery
• A strong knowledge of building services/HVAC systems is essential
• Experienced in using AutoCAD or a similar design software package
• Must be a team player
• Excellent communications skills are a must
