We have a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of bespoke products as a Senior Systems Engineer.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll work within a dynamic cross-discipline team to scope, design and develop system solutions.

Senior Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of Systems Engineers
• Responsible for systems design and architecture of scientific instrumentation, with particular attention to manufacturability and customer needs
• Deal with technicalities of several products in NPD-to-manufacturing stage
• Work across several product ranges, capturing customer needs and translating those to comprehensive specifications
• Follow safety, compliance and quality standards
• Evaluate development decisions

Senior Systems Engineer Requirements:

• Experience of leading teams or mentoring juniors, using Agile frameworks
• 5+ years' experience in an instrumentation development environment, with specific experience of real time systems such as UV-VIS-IR spectroscopes, fibre-optics, semiconductor lasers, light scattering equipment, photodetectors
• STEM degree, or equivalent
• Translating design to manufacturing specifications
• Experience using engineering tools such as DOORS or SysML
