Service Support Coordinator

If you are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment where you will build excellent relationships both internally and with the external team you are supporting, this would be a fantastic opportunity.

Our client is looking for an additional person to join the team and be responsible coordinating the daily operations of a small team of Service Engineers. This could include planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, or warranty repairs, and you will play a key role in supporting and delivering an exceptional service to our customers.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Acting as the main point of contact for the engineers, ensuring they have everything they need to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Working closely with the Team Lead, Service Managers, and Deputies to plan resources, schedules, and match the right engineer to the right job.
  • Raising and assigning service orders, order parts, and manage maintenance schedules with precision.
  • Taking customer calls, handle queries, and ensure excellent service from start to finish.
  • Managing parts for quoted and planned works so our engineers can keep doing what they do best.

Skills and experience required:

  • Organised and proactive with a natural ability to prioritise.
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, data input).
  • Clear, confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • Cool under pressure, thrives on variety.
  • Previous experience in customer service, supply chain would be beneficial
  • Excellent team player

Based on the outskirts of Hereford, own transport is essential in order to get to and from the office location.
