Hewett Recruitment are working in partnership with Worcestershire LEP and Timewise to bring to the county the first Flexible Jobs Index for Worcestershire.
Louise Hewett explained "I first met Emma Stewart from Timewise when, as a member of the Future of Jobs Commission in London we invited her to speak. I felt the work they were doing on promoting growth through flexible hiring was very much worth sharing with my own clients and the wider audience in Worcestershire and we are grateful for our partnership with WLEP which seemed to be the perfect vehicle to make this happen. This flexibility study fits nicely into the wider context of our practical recommendations to employers and policy makers that can be found in the Future of Jobs Report - which talks about future proofing and re-imagining hiring procedures and developing forward looking workforce planning, reflecting changing demographics, technology, talent shortages and changing employee expectations.
One of the key recommendations was to embed flexible hiring and make inclusion the norm by re-evaluating recruitment procedures."
One of the top ten searched terms on Hewett Recruitment's website is part-time - but the jobs advertised are largely full-time.
