Internal Account Manager

Seeking new business opportunities, the Account Manager will work within the existing sales team, proactively seeking new business opportunities within a set of existing customers and focusing on maintaining relationships and customer retention. Previous experience in a customer facing sales role is essential as is your ability to exceed targets.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Responsibility for outbound sales prospecting and opportunities
  • Working closely with field sales and specialist teams to deliver opportunities
  • Accurately forecasting business KPIs to management teams
  • Identifying opportunities to sell to new stakeholders and customers
  • Responsibility for closing contracts as well as engaging with specialists in order to deliver customer requirements
  • Recognising and delivering against opportunities for business growth via a multi -channel approach

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience within an Inside Sales / Account Management role
  • Experienced in different sales techniques
  • Confident in sourcing new leads and achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent Microsoft Office use - particularly Excel to analyse spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (such as Salesforce)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
