Job description
Business Development Manager
Leading a small, well established team that is part of a larger organisation, you will be a natural driver in bringing in new business opportunities as well as overseeing existing key accounts. Solution orientated and highly organised, you will drive the Sales and Operations team and be an exceptional ambassador for the organisation.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Managing some of the existing key clients and onboarding new ones
- Managing the team, setting targets and objectives and mentoring and coaching
- Monitoring sales to identify relevant trends and working with internal stakeholders
- Defining and monitoring the quality and performance of the team, setting KPI's
- Defining and improving all related processes
- Ensuring CRM and other tools are fully utilised
Reporting into a Director based oversees, this role carries a large amount of autonomy and responsibility and could be a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate true leadership
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in managing Sales / Business Development teams
- Excellent understanding of Sales and Operations and the required processes
- Knowledge of the OBP and Trademark products such as corporate domain names, SSLs, Intellectual property products would be highly beneficial
- An ability to use own initiative and make decisions
- A strong commercial focus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship builder
Based in Worcester with some flexibility of home working, this role will also require occasional travel within the UK and abroad.
