CNC Machinist (Miller)
Location: Tewkesbury
 Salary: £32,000 - 38,000
 Hours: Full-time, Permanent
 Department: Operations
The Company
Our client is a leading precision engineering business supplying high-quality components to the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Miller) to join their operations team.

The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC Milling and Mill Turn machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. You'll work as part of a collaborative production team, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, operate, and program CNC Milling and Mill Turn multi-axis machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis) 
- Produce precision-engineered components to detailed specifications within tight tolerances 
- Work to agreed production timescales and complete all associated paperwork 
- Liaise with the Production Supervisor and team members to ensure workflow efficiency 
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer quality and safety standards 
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Proven experience setting, operating, and programming CNC Milling and multi-axis machinery 
- Strong understanding of fixtures, tooling, feeds, and speeds for various raw materials 
- Experience with FANUC, Okuma, ISO, or Mazatrol programming 
- Knowledge of live tooling and LEAN manufacturing principles 
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications 
- Confident using manual measuring equipment 
Desirable:
- Experience with Victor, Hyundai, or Doosan machine tool lathes 
- Knowledge of CMM inspection and measuring techniques 
- Advanced CAD/CAM experience (SolidWorks, hyperMILL, Mastercam) 
- Formal Engineering Qualification (City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent) 
- Apprentice-trained background
