Finance and Practice Manager
Job description
My client are a prestigious firm who are passionate about delivering the best customer service and personal approach, looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager with practice experience to join their team.
Key Responsibilities include…
- Overseeing the finance function, ensuring its smooth operation
- Producing monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with ICAEW and other regulatory requirements
- Providing commercial support to teams across all offices
- Managing facilities, IT, and HR functions
- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
- Managing the sales ledger, including direct debit collections and credit control
- Handling expenses and disbursement management for the firm
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Continuously developing internal systems and the practice database
- Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to the growth of the business
Qualifications and Skills include…
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in Practice
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience
- Proficiency in Xero software
- Positive 'can-do' attitude and excellent communication skills
- Experience in report writing
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
- Commercial awareness
- Dedication, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Essential: Valid driving licence
