Finance and Practice Manager

My client are a prestigious firm who are passionate about delivering the best customer service and personal approach, looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager with practice experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities include…

• Overseeing the finance function, ensuring its smooth operation
• Producing monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other financial reports
• Ensuring compliance with ICAEW and other regulatory requirements
• Providing commercial support to teams across all offices
• Managing facilities, IT, and HR functions
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
• Managing the sales ledger, including direct debit collections and credit control
• Handling expenses and disbursement management for the firm
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Continuously developing internal systems and the practice database
• Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to the growth of the business

Qualifications and Skills include…

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in Practice
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience
• Proficiency in Xero software
• Positive 'can-do' attitude and excellent communication skills
• Experience in report writing
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
• Commercial awareness
• Dedication, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Essential: Valid driving licence
