The Role
Finance Assistant
A brand NEW ROLE created to help an experienced Finance team deal with the demands of an established, thriving and growing business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the posting of the month end accounts, working alongside the Management team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare appropriate month end adjustments, including stock, adjustments, fixed assets register work, review KPI workings, complete analysis commentary, shared maintenance of models, balance sheet recs, power point slides.
- VAT Return preparation and submission.
- Work with Finance Manager on commentary of results.
- Issue Group month end template to PLC.
- Year End Population of schedules.
- Audit liaison.
- Assistance with Budget preparation.
- Capex Tracking.
- Continuous improvement projects.
- Business Partnering the wider senior leadership team.
- Any other ad hoc duties required in relation to the preparation of accounts under the direction of the Finance Manager and Directors and therefore commensurate with the role.
Requirements
- Part Qualified ACCA,CIMA or equivalent working towards full qualification
- Basic understanding of IFRS 16 Leases
- Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills as well as Communication skills.
- Good MS Office skills
- Experience in a similar, relevant role.
Based in Kidderminster.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Competitive salary available - dependant on experience.
