Head of Supply Chain (Manufacturing)

Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (Fully Site Based)

We are recruiting an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a senior leadership opportunity reporting to the Operations Director, responsible for driving supply chain strategy, inventory optimisation, procurement performance, and logistics efficiency across the business.

The Role

You will take ownership of the full supply chain function including:

  • Supply chain strategy development and execution
  • S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) leadership
  • Procurement and supplier performance management
  • Production planning and demand forecasting
  • Inventory optimisation and stock control
  • Inbound logistics and warehousing operations
  • ERP/MRP optimisation (including Netstock)
  • Budget management and working capital control
  • KPI reporting (OTIF, service level, cost reduction)
  • Leading and developing a high-performing supply chain team

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Production, NPD and Commercial teams to ensure material availability, cost efficiency and service excellence.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 5+ years' senior supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing
  • Strong background in procurement, planning, logistics and inventory management
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance improvement
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
  • Exposure to international supply chains and import/export compliance
