Job description
A great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a HR Advisor role.
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will deliver an excellent HR service to the business by proactively developing ER processes and line manager capability in all areas of employee engagement and employee relations.
As HR Advisor, you will also drive the recruitment strategy and manage the recruitment process for direct staff and supporting the Talent Acquisition Team with indirect staff.
You should have a minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience and CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist Employee Relations advice and guidance from end-to-end case management.
- Develop a successful relationship with the internal Committees.
- Support with the employee engagement process, including communication, survey administration and action planning.
- Implement policy and process changes as a result of analysing trends.
- Manage the recruitment process end to end, including interview support and issuing contracts.
- Support with upskilling managers to confidently address ER issues.
- Utilise business metrics to pro-actively identify areas for improvement.
- Support the business' Centres of Expertise to develop initiatives and to ensure successful implementation at a local level.
- Comply with and support the EHS polices, processes and programmes.
- Ensure EHS training is adhered to.
- Support the Quality processes and programmes to drive the business performance.
- Supporting on groupwide HR projects
HR Advisor Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Generalist position.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience handling employee relations issues.
- CIPD Level 5.
- Strong IT knowledge, intermediate level MS Excel is desirable.
- Ability to identify root cause and implement actions to address.
- Relationship building and proven negotiation skills.
- Experience of improving the competence of others.
- Ability to manage stakeholders to achieve results and manage expectations.
- Prior exposure to businesses with organised workforces
Based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, Friday 8am to 2pm.
£35,000 annual salary.
