Job Title: Interim Maintenance Manager

Reporting to: Finance & Corporate Services Manager

Hours of work: Full time, temporary for anticipated 4 month period

Remuneration: Competitive

Purpose of role:

This role will manage the stadium facility for an interim period. Undertake the maintenance of the built area to a high standard, ensuring the physical environment is fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of facilities management services to a high standard, identifying proactive as well as reactive opportunities that will improve the facilities.
  • Undertake facilities contracts negotiations and be responsible for contractor management. Making sure contracts are well managed and issues are escalated and resolved as appropriate.
  • Ensure records are created and maintained to demonstrate full operational procedures are followed.
  • Take the lead for flood response across the Club, including on and off-site storage requirements.
  • To project manage both large and small property development schemes when they occur.
  • Motivate, develop and lead a brilliant team.
  • Promote a positive health & safety culture throughout the organisation and ensure all staff are adhering to these standards.
  • Site security including key holder responsibility and alarm call-outs.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive facilities management experience gained in comparable environments. Demonstrate knowledge of facilities management functions, including contract management and continuity planning.
  • A professional qualification in facilities management (e.g. IWFM level 4+ or equivalent) and health & safety (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of statutory legislation as it relates to the build environment.
  • Desirable experience of procuring facilities management service contracts based upon best practice principles.
  • A hands-on person who can demonstrate the ability to 'roll-up sleeves' to accomplish key requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to find pragmatic solutions and adapt to quickly changing situations.
  • Passionate and resilient with the ability to work under pressure and cope effectively with change and growth
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills in English
