Key Account Manager
£30k plus commission

This is a great opportunity to join a commercial accounts team as a Key Account Manager.
You will be responsible for driving and developing the commercial plan for supplier accounts with strategic importance to the business.
Engaging with different stakeholders at all levels internally and externally, your main accountability will be to retain and grow these accounts.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to)....
*Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders
*Understand the customer and products to effectively identify and pitch the benefits of what the company can do for them
*Plan and deliver presentations / service reviews to customer stakeholders at regular intervals
*Take responsibility for annual renewal of contracts for identified customer base
*Work closely with development and technical team members in supporting the overall delivery on commercial targets
*Feed the wider business with information on potential applications / projects that may be relevant to incorporate into our product offering
*Resolve issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

Skills and experience include...
*Proven experience and a track record of winning and developing business to meet planned sales targets
*Experience of developing and maintaining excellent long-term relationships with customers and colleagues
*Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent negotiation and influencing ability
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Strong numerical skills and ability to evaluate complex data
*High level of energy and commitment, tenacious, confident and self-motivated
*Willingness and ability to work outside usual working hours to meet the needs of the business

A background in software, food or sustainability is advantageous for this position.
