Our client is looking for a 'hands on' individual who will take on the responsibility of the day to day operational decisions of a well -established and thriving business. As the key coordinator who will be the interface between the Senior Managers, the sales, production and design teams as well as the various sites of the company, you will assist in the company's growth by enabling the staff to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.
As the Operations Manager you will demonstrate strong financial and commercial acumen, a natural passion in driving a business forward and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Some of the key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Liaising with the Head of Sales and Head of Design on a day to day basis as well as identifying areas for review
*Reporting into and supporting the Director as the company grows and develops
*Participating in regular Senior Management meetings
*Overseeing the day to day running of the business by regularly communicating with internal department heads
Confident in making day to day decisions, the Operations Manager will need to have their 'finger on the pulse' and forge strong relationships with all staff. An ambitious and driven individual who can lead as well as being part of a team is essential.
Additional duties will also include:
*The day to day financial organisation of the company
*Involvement in planning for the financial resourcing of production and sales developments
*Financial planning for yearly budgets
*Monitoring weekly supply, production and ordering despatch schedules with supervisors
*HR administration including contracts, training, health and safety
*Supporting the day to day operation of the IT system
*Providing reports for analysis
The role is supported by a part-time Accounting Clerk and has both direct and advisory management responsibilities for the internal teams.

Set in a picturesque, rural location on the outskirts of Ledbury, the post holder will need their own transport. The salary on offer is £35 - £40k, depending on experience.
