Recruitment Officer (12 month Maternity contract)

This innovative, forward thinking company is looking for a Recruitment Officer to join an incredibly 'hands on' and proactive HR team and take responsibility for sourcing talent. Reporting directly into the HR Manager and working alongside the HR team, you will be involved in recruitment campaign management, interviewing, raising employer brand and working on recruitment projects.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Operating a systematic and robust recruitment and selection framework
  • Working alongside the business to actively reduce the reliance on agencies and recruitment fees
  • Sourcing suitable candidates through a range of identified methods including Social Media, Job boards, LinkedIn etc.
  • Working with managers to produce accurate and well written job descriptions to accurately reflect the role
  • Keeping abreast of recruitment trends, including those in skills/job roles, market rates and effective attractive and selection tools and techniques
  • Leading the coordination of recruitment events and all associated literature and products for these
  • Managing the recruitment module/applicant tracking and candidate pooling system

As an experienced recruiting and talent sourcing professional, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar recruitment role
  • Experienced in using social media / LinkedIn for recruitment purposes
  • Proven experience of effective agency management
  • Proven experience of digital and social media recruitment management
  • Proven experience of creative and effective job advert creation
  • Confident in managing recruitment systems/applicant tracking systems
  • Experience of working with cloud based (SAAS) HR systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident and customer focused manner
  • Excellent team player
  • Adaptable to a fast paced environment

Our client is based in Worcester and is offering a salary of up to £28.5k plus excellent benefits and flexibility of home working for up to two days a week. This is a 12 month maternity contract.
