Sales Administrator / Sales Support Coordinator
Bishops Frome, Worcester
Monday to Friday 39 Hours
£25,800 - £27,000 + bonus scheme
33 days holiday
The Role
Are you a proactive and organised professional with 2 to 3 years' experience in sales support or customer service, looking to grow your career? A leading specialist design and manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Administrator to support the Technical Sales Manager. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, smooth sales operations, and timely delivery of orders, while gaining exposure to cross-department projects and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Administration
- Process and manage sales orders accurately.
- Generate and follow up on quotes and leads.
- Assist in producing sales reports and forecasts.
- Maintain customer/project records in the ERP system and sales databases.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers/distributors.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Support surveys and report insights to management.
Collaboration & Events
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to meet deadlines.
- Assist with exhibitions, site visits, and promotional activities.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to ISO-9001 accreditation and health & safety compliance.
- Support the implementation of company policies and environmental initiatives.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in sales support, order processing, or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong It skills with proficiency in MS Office and sales/CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Degree or equivalent desirable but not essential.
