Sales Administrator / Sales Support Coordinator

Bishops Frome, Worcester
Monday to Friday 39 Hours

£25,800 - £27,000 + bonus scheme
33 days holiday

The Role

Are you a proactive and organised professional with 2 to 3 years' experience in sales support or customer service, looking to grow your career? A leading specialist design and manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Administrator to support the Technical Sales Manager. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, smooth sales operations, and timely delivery of orders, while gaining exposure to cross-department projects and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Administration

  • Process and manage sales orders accurately.
  • Generate and follow up on quotes and leads.
  • Assist in producing sales reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain customer/project records in the ERP system and sales databases.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers/distributors.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Support surveys and report insights to management.

Collaboration & Events

  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with exhibitions, site visits, and promotional activities.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to ISO-9001 accreditation and health & safety compliance.
  • Support the implementation of company policies and environmental initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in sales support, order processing, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong It skills with proficiency in MS Office and sales/CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Degree or equivalent desirable but not essential.
