Job description

Senior Product Manager (Fenestration / Construction)

Location: UK Head Office, Ross-on-Wye with hybrid working
Salary: £35,000 - £70,560 (depending on experience)

My client is an innovative, global organisation seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join the Windows Solutions Division. The role is based at the UK Head Office in Ross-on-Wye, but also offers hybrid working.

This role is ideal for someone with strong product management experience in the construction or fenestration industry, who also has knowledge and experience of fire-related products. You will be responsible for driving commercial strategy, pricing, market research, compliance, stock management, sales analysis, and new product launches. Collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will also be working alongside the UK sales force to promote and grow the diverse range of fenestration products.

Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure continued business growth in a profitable and sustainable manner.
  • Managing the lifecycle of current products and identifying opportunities for new products.
  • Ensuring the business strategy is consistently executed - acting as the 'glue' between all departments
  • Supporting the commercial and operational aspects of product management, including pricing, stock control, and compliance.
  • Providing technical expertise and market insights to both the internal team and customers.

The role will play a key part in the product management of current and future ranges, with a specific focus on bought-in system accessories and fire-rated window and door products

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in the construction or fenestration industry
  • An in-depth knowledge of fire-rated construction products, including their application and legislative requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work, with experience in creating business plans, conducting data analysis, and identifying market trends.
  • The ability to adapt to complex business situations and evolving market demands
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel is essential on occasions.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing, innovative business and is a collaborative, forward-thinking environment with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
