Site Services Engineer
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

The Company
Our client is a leading food manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. They are now seeking a Site Services Engineer to join their operations and supply chain team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of site services and facilities.
The Role
As a Site Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of facilities and services across the site. Working closely with the Lead Technician, Production, Hygiene, and Technical teams, you will help ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards while supporting continuous improvement in preventative maintenance and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all site services and interventions comply with food safety and HACCP principles
Promote and enforce safe working practices, including lock off/tag off procedures and PPE standards
Conduct ongoing inspections of the workplace, identifying and resolving unsafe conditions
Support risk assessments and contribute to a safe working environment
Liaise with Production, Hygiene, and Technical teams to resolve issues and share updates
Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical matters as required
Undertake project work as directed by the Lead Technician, reporting outcomes
Ensure all paperwork, reporting, and emails are accurate and up to date
Support implementation and use of the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
Deliver effective shift handovers by communicating key information to colleagues
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment (preferred)
Relevant trade qualifications (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or facilities discipline)
FLT and IPAF licences desirable
Experience in plumbing, electrical safety, fabrication, and facilities work advantageous
Highly methodical with strong organisational skills for preventative maintenance
Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team
Flexible approach to working hours as required by the business
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments
