A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an exciting start-up company as it moves past the proof of concept phase and on to the delivery of large scale applications. He has chosen to build a distributed workforce, working with modern tools and platforms to create a close-knit and effective team.

As a Software Developer you will work on the development of large, enterprise scale applications, with a focus on intelligent workflow processes and integration with existing systems via APIs. This will include projects for external clients along with inhouse product development. The core tech stack for the role is .Net / C#, Angular (Typescript / Javascript) and Azure, alongside other technologies including APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), SQL and NoSQL databases, advanced CSS and modern UI/UX methodologies, mobile application development, CI/CD and Testing methodologies.

The successful applicant will ideally have solid commercial software development experience (2+ years) within C# / .Net and most likely be educated to degree level in a relevant subject. You will be familiar with modern tooling and software development practices, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Given the nature of the business, you will have a natural enthusiasm and curiosity for software and learning new / developing technologies, responding positively to challenges and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

You must also be prepared to work from home 100% of the time and it is important to the company that you have an appropriate "home office" set up to allow you be comfortable and productive in that environment. Ideally you will have some previous experience in remote working although this is not essential, but you must see working from home as a preferred option moving forwards, rather than a compromise.

Whilst the role is 100% remote, you should ideally be within a reasonable commute of its satellite office in Tewkesbury - Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Pershore. Salary £25-35,000, commensurate with experience.
